Project description:
A health holiday centre for 13 villages within the “Království” Microregion headed by the Mayor of Majetín was built with financial aid from the Czech Ministry for Regional Development and EU SAPARD fund. Dominant part of the centre has become a small outdoor water park with 25-metre four-lane ceramic swimming pool, leisure pool with attractions and kiddies´ pool, 8 metres in diameter, with mushroom fountain and water slide. Facilities include snack bar, changing cubicles, outdoor showers, toilets and water treatment plant.
Both the planning and construction phase of the project were a great challenge since all requirements as set out in the EU SAPARD programme had to be met within a short period of time.
