Project description:
The project was aimed at conversion of the “Lány II” coal-fired hot water boiler plant to a gas-fired plant with combined heat and power generation system for the heating of residential premises and community facilities at the Lány estate in Svitavy. The local hospital is also connected to the hot-water line.
The client´s major concern was to achieve a cost-effective operation and minimize the cost of running the new gas-fired plant. The district heating duct system at the housing estate has also undergone extensive renovation and new heat exchanger stations were installed in the buildings connected to the boiler plant.
All machines and plants of the new boiler house are installed in the existing plantroom.
